In this section, you can find 11 tools which are useful for you whitecollars working in the production line. The tools are mainly focused on standardization. Capacity Study, 7 Wastes, Spaghetti Diagram, 5S, SOP (4 different types), SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping and SMED  are some of these tools which are available below with the instructions embedded.

  • 5S: 5S is a way of thinking, to put into practice daily to facilitate operations and optimize working conditions. The goal is to have a performing job and continuously improve it (Kaizen) This tool can be used by everyone (managers and all other employees) at every workplace, helping for creating and maintaining an organized, clean, and high performance workplace. Convenient and with a good example attached you also beneficiate from a tracking list of revisions.   • Capacity Study: Use this essential template as a starting point to analyse the capacity of a manufacturing line.   • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP Analysis): Standard operation sheet, a dedicated tool for the industrial environment.   • Polivalancy Management (Competency Management): Use this simple tool in order to asses the competencies’ levels of your team.
